Analyst Names The Most Dangerous NBA Play-In Team

The 2023-24 NBA regular season is coming down to the wire with teams in both conferences trying to secure their spot in the NBA playoffs or at the very least in the Play-In Tournament, which will showcase four teams in each conference.

With the Western Conference being as competitive as ever, there are a few teams in contention for the Play-In Tournament that would be among the higher seeds in the Eastern Conference, meaning there’s going to be some entertaining battles before the postseason officially gets underway.

One team that has fallen down the standings in the West as of late is the Phoenix Suns, with the three-headed monster of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker holding on to hope that they can make it to the postseason and make a deep run.

If the Suns can move up to No. 6 in the West, passing up the New Orleans Pelicans, they’ll be waiting for their first-round opponents, but if not, they’ll have to try their luck in the Play-In Tournament, which might be the most likely scenario.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe believes that if the Suns land in the Play-In Tournament that they’ll be the most dangerous team in the tournament, via NBA on ESPN.

As of right now, the Play-In Tournament in the West would have the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings and Suns battling it out for two spots in the playoffs.

Although the Lakers and Warriors have been an up-and-down teams this year, it’s hard to write off either with all their veteran talent, which could make it difficult for the Suns.
